Darul Huda T.T.I. started functioning as a self financing Teacher Training institution on 1.10.2004 as a sister concern of Darul Huda Arabic College. Sri P.V. Kunhammad Haji was the founder of Darul Huda Arabic College which was started in 1966. He was the first President of the College committee. It is started in Vanimal Grama Panchayath which is 70 km away from Kozhikode city. The nearest railway station is Vatakara. |

The building is situated in the beautiful rural landscape of Vanimal very near to Vanimal river. It is a double storied spacious building with all facilities. The building of the Arabic college was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister for Education govt. of Kerala Sri.C.H.Muhammad Koya. |

The committee was registered under societies registration act in the year 2002.Darul Huda T.T.I. started functioning on 1.10.2004 under the management of the above committee. The T.T.I.was inaugurated Sri.P.K.Kunhali Kutty, then the Hon. Minister for Industries and I.T. on 3.10.2004. |

The first batch successfully completed the two year course in the year 2006 with a result of 88% pass. Our trainees had participated in Dist.level &state level youth festival of T.T.I and won many prizes. We secured runners up in dist level festival in the year 2006.

ORDER

In terms of Section 14(!) of the NCTE Act , 1993 Darul huda Teacher Training Institute, Vanimal P.O. Kallachi, Pin-673506, Kozhikode District, Kerala had submitted an application to the southern Regional Committee of NCTE for grant of recognition for starting Elimentary course of two year duration from the academic session 2004-2005with an annual intake of 50 students.
2.On scrutiny of the application submitted by the institution, the documents attached therewith and the input received from the visiting team, the Committee has noted the following: |
| a) The institution has acquired the land for setting up the teacher education institution. |
| b)The institution has created an Endowment Fund of Rs.5.00 Lakhs and a Reserve Fund equal to 3 month salary. |
| c)The institution has selected the principal/Head and Five teachers for the said course and the staff list is approved by SCERT Thiruvanandapuram. |

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested under Section14(3) (a) of the NCTE Act, 1993, the Regional Committee hereby grants recognition to Darul Huda Teacher training Institute, Vanimal P.O. ,Kallachi, pin-673506, Kozhikode District , kerala for Elementary course of two years duration from the academic session 2004-2005 with an annual intake of 50 students subject to fulfillment of the following.
a) |
The institution will ensure that six faculty members are inposition for an intake of 50 students before commencement of the course and a report to this effect shall be sent to the Committee immediately and in any case not later than one month from date of commencement of the course. |
b)
|
The institution shall, within one month of the receipt of recognition order, convert the endowment fund account into a joint account to be operated along with an official of the Regional committee. |
c) |
The institution shall, within one month of the receipt of recognition order, create a reserve fund equal to 3 months salary in fixed deposit. |
d) |
The institution shall shift to its own premises within three years from the date of recognition (in case the course is started in temporary premises) |
e) |
The institution shall comply with the various other norms and standards prescribed in the NCTE Regulations. |
4. Further, the recognition is subject to fulfillment of all such other requirements as may be prescribed by other regulatory bodies likeUGC/University/State Governmnet etc.,
5. The institution shall submit to the Regional Committee a Performance Appraisal report at the end of each academinc year along with a copy of the approval of the affliating University for the appointment of faculty members and the statement of annual accounts duly audited by a Charted Accountant.
6. If the institution contravenes any of the above conditions or any of the provisions of the NCTE Act, Rules, Regulatuions and orders made or issued thereunder the Regional Committee may withdraw the recognition under provisions of section 17(1) of the NCTE Act.
